Five interactive modules, distributed over a three-month period to equip you with the skills and knowledge to be a confidant Organizational Development Practitioner. 

To optimize cost and efficiency, the course is presented in a blended approach, including both on-line and in-person sessions.

In Module 1, we explore the foundations of Organizational Development and change:

  • Leadership: The Art Of Possibility

  • The importance of happiness and wellbeing
  • Role of Human Resources in Organizational Development consulting
  • Ethical considerations

We continue to explore how behaviour influence organizational development processes, and how we can manage behaviour more effectively, and includes:

  • Levels of awareness
  • Self-discovery, insight into:
  • The Johari-window

  • Conflict styles
  • Neuroscience and behaviour
  • Ikigai
  • The importance of paradigms

In module 2 we explore the foundations of Organizational Development:

  • The danger of the single story

  • Working with the stages of team development

  • Organizational Development and Change Management models
  • Organizational politics
  • Organizational Development processes applications
  • Systems theory
  • The learning organization

Module 3 provides you with the skills needed to be a successful Organizational Development practitioner:

  • Effective communication, listening, questioning and responding skills
  • Handling crisis situations
  • Facilitation skills
  • Process model of facilitation
  • Effective group decision making and conflict handling
  • Problem solving tools and consulting skills
  • On-line facilitation
  • Consulting

In module 4 we continue to put theory into practice.  You will apply all you have learned to a case study in an organization of your choice.

  • You will be guided to plan your case study, where after you will implement it within a real work-setting.

In the final module you will make a presentation on your case study and share your learning and experiences. 

You will also experience more creative Organizational Development concepts, like music, art, religion and quantum theory, OD in a cultural context, and how these can be used to enhance your OD skills repertoire.
